The TRIPLE GUITAR pans can be used as a solo instrument however, it is most often used to accompany other steel drum instruments. The playing surface is identical to the Cello instrument. The skirt of the Guitar is 14" long, compared to 27" on the Cello. Therefore the voice suspension is shorter than with the Cello pan. The musician playing this instrument should be able to maintain a steady tempo and have a good touch to carry the harmony.
